Site-specific installation at the Jawahar Laka Kendra, Jaipur, India.This work was made during “A Tourist Everywhere’ an International artist’s residency organized by artists collective Sandarbh in 2015.
Jaipur based artist Hariom Potdar and Rahul Kumawat kindly assisted with the installation.
This is a simple work, in which I made road signs from the lyrics of a bollywood classic song “Musafir Hoon Yaaron”, originally sung by the late great singer Kishor Kumar for the film Parichay, 1972. The work is a reflection on my nomadic lifestyle, which has led me to live, work and travel globally.
